In this Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate I course, the material is divided into 6 weeks where each week will learn new material. At the end of each week, there will be a mixed exam consisting of multiple choice questions and essays. The minimum score standard is 80, and those who score below that will be required to retake the exam.
The breakdown of each week’s material is as follows:
Week 1:
Learning how to combine data, manage data sets and perform calculations across multiple sources.
Week 2:
Becoming an expert in the use of date and text functions, this week will also cover the ways in which information can be extracted and data manipulated to meet specific business needs.
Week 3:
Discussed creating, managing and applying Named Ranges to enhance calculations.
Week 4:
Learn advanced formulas such as COUNTIFS to extract information from data, as well as generate graphical representations of it.
Week 5:
Learning about Tables, starting with creating, formatting and managing tables then continuing with sorting and filtering tables to get the data needed. and finally how to automate the tables that have been created to become more efficient.
Week 6:
Learn about Pivot Tables, how to create and modify them to solve various business problems. then create interactive dashboard views with PIvot and Slicer
